Fertility Affirmations to Stay Hopeful During Infertility.
I’ve always been a glass-half-full kind of girl. I try to find the silver lining, look on the bright side, and remind myself that things have a way of working out. But when I was in the thick of infertility, I’ll be honest—none of that came naturally.
It felt like my whole world was on pause. Like life wouldn’t really begin until I got the one thing I wanted most. Every thought seemed to circle back to “What if it never happens?” or “Why not me?” It was like my mind was constantly looping the same fears on repeat.
Why Fertility Affirmations Matter During Infertility.
What I didn’t fully realize at the time is that our thoughts shape our reality. They influence the way we feel, how we show up, and how we move through this experience. The thoughts we repeat most often—especially when they go unchecked—can either build us up or break us down.
How Affirmations Help You Stay Grounded While TTC.
Of course, we can’t control everything that happens on the path to motherhood (if only!), but we can control our mindset. We can be intentional with our thoughts. And that’s why I’m such a big believer in positive affirmations.
Affirmations are a way to ground yourself in hope. They help you shift from fear to trust, from spiraling to steady, from “what if it never happens?” to “I’m open to what’s possible.” They’re not magic—but they are powerful. Because the language we use with ourselves matters. And over time, those words start to reshape what we believe about ourselves, our bodies, and our journey.
Below, I’ve shared some affirmations that have helped me and my clients through the hardest moments. Take what resonates and adjust the ones that don’t to make them your own.

How to Use Affirmations When They Don’t Feel Believable.
Still, affirmations can feel hard to jump into, especially if they don’t yet feel believable. That’s where transitional phrases can help. These gentle sentence starters create space between doubt and belief. They help you soften into the practice without forcing it.
I am learning...
I trust...
My intention is to...
I’m open to the idea that...
It’s safe for me to trust that...
I’m beginning to believe that...
Try one today. Say it out loud. Write it in your journal. Repeat it in your mind when things feel uncertain.
Do you already use affirmations?
Share your favorites in the comments, I’d love to hear them. You never know who else might need your words today.
You’re not alone in this. And I believe in your story. ✨

Frequently Asked Questions About Fertility Affirmations…
-
Yes. While affirmations can't change the outcome of your fertility treatments, they can shift your mindset. They help reduce stress, improve emotional resilience, and reframe negative self-talk, which makes a real difference on the TTC journey.
-
The best affirmations are the ones that feel personal and empowering. Examples include:
“My body is strong and capable.”
“I am doing everything I can to prepare for my future baby.”
“My fertility journey is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to.”
You can also adapt affirmations to include IVF, embryo transfers, or other treatments. The more personal the better.
-
Absolutely. Many women use affirmations during IVF, FET, or egg retrievals to stay grounded. Saying affirmations before procedures or during the two-week wait can help calm nerves and anchor you in hope.
-
That’s completely normal. If a statement feels too far from your current reality, try using a transitional phrase like:
“I’m open to the idea that…”
“I’m learning to believe…”
This helps your brain gently adjust and still benefit from the practice.
Affirmations are a great source of support on your journey. But you don’t have to go through this alone.
In my 1:1 coaching program, we focus on mindset support, emotional tools, and finding peace (even in the wait).
